We imagined the project as ‘landscape drawing’.
We outlined a new piece of landscape through a system of signs, integrated in a homogeneous design of the stadium, of the structures (covering, tiers) and the infrastructures, with the shapes of the hills and the historical town architecture.
We tried to find a unifying element between territory and structure in the covering which is foreseen both on the East and West stands. This matrix would have had to delicately connect to the hilltops inspired by the natural shape of the trees, thus becoming the symbol of the project and of its respectful confrontation with the local environmentally-friendly values.
