Descriptive report

The competition site is a flat terrain surrounded by greenery, in the shape of a trapezium, with an extension of 160 mt x 110 mt, for a total surface of 15.750 square metres. The area borders on agricultural land on the west and with the Ferrara Trade Fair area. Up north, it borders with the road accessing the area (approximately 200m long) that links it to the adjacent Via Bologna, separating it from the nearby Directional Centre Buildings. The environmental value of the site is high. The building, which used to host the Fruit and Vegetable Operative Centre, is isolated and central. It features at-sight reinforced concrete and a high architectural value, in spite of the many excrescences that have stratified in time.
